Paws-Ability, a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to local animal rescue groups hosts a free, six-week course to teach children responsible pet ownership. Each class includes lessons on responsibility, compassion, respect and self-discipline. I look forward to the day when this invaluable lifetime education becomes part of every school board programming. I support all such worthy causes and feel especially honoured that my book, ‘No More Cats!’ is being presented as part of the course curriculum.
All money earned during this book reading event, was donated to Paws-Ability organization.
Charley loves “No More Cats!” and can recite most of it by heart. She has grown so very fond of the Brown’s six kitties that they have found a way to become part of her own little fantasy animal family.
Colton enjoyed the story of ‘No More Cats!’ so much, that he brought it to his school and read it to his fellow classmates.
Linda Sing, North Carolina, loves to read stories to children. She makes them exciting and encourages active participation. She shared with me that the children absolutely loved the repeating phrase ‘No More Cats!’ and by the time she reached the end of the book, they all chimed in ‘No More Cats!’
Beautiful Bella from South Carolina USA loves to read books about all animals, especially cats. She was thrilled to discover that she and one of Mrs. Brown’s cats share the same name Bella.
I heard through the grapevine that the boys and girls at Play and Learn Nursery School, Toronto, were so enthused with the book that they asked permission to bring in their little figurines the next day for show and tell. I was so touched to receive this card in the mail.
A lovely note from a pleased mother who loved my book ‘No More Cats!’. It’s always gratifying to know that readers are waiting for your next publication. You can be sure that I will be sending a copy of my next book to Brenda in June/July 2017.
A radiant smile from an enthusiastic follower from the United States.
Emma enjoyed the reading of ‘No More Cats!’ so much that she wanted to send me a fan letter. I found this letter so touching that I had it framed and it’s now on the wall of my writing room.
